887 - Ex Machina

Robert Lepage's 887 - Ex Machina is a solo performance where Lepage recounts memories from his childhood in Quebec City during the late 1960s, intertwined with reflections on the modern act of memorization. It’s a multimedia piece, using miniature sets and projections to explore themes of memory, language, and national identity through a personal lens. This theater event takes place on Friday, December 11, 2026, at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre in Toronto. The venue's historic atmosphere should complement the introspective nature of the play. It's a good fit for those who appreciate innovative storytelling and theatrical experiences that blend personal narrative with broader cultural commentary.
