Will Evans is a Rhode Island-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and founding frontman of New England roots-rock favorites Barefoot Truth. Since launching his solo career in 2012, Evans has built a devoted following with his uplifting blend of folk, rock, reggae, and soul, using live looping to layer acoustic guitar, handpan, didgeridoo, beatboxing, and vocals into a remarkably full sound. With more than 50 million independent streams and tours alongside artists including Trevor Hall, Grace Potter, Bruce Hornsby, and Michael Franti, Evans has established himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary roots music. His 2025 album The Wild Unknown expands his sound into folk, electronica, and rock, featuring collaborations with Tristan Prettyman, Dirtwire, and Moontricks.
