Santa's Magical Library

Santa and his elves at Vaughan Mills are excited to share this first-of-its-kind magical & immersive experience, Santa's Magical Library and the Great Book of Imagination. This immersive experience combines augmented reality, interactive storytelling, and mobile technology to bring a whimsical adventure to life. Families enter Santa’s Magical Library, where beloved storybook characters have mysteriously escaped from the Great Book of Imagination, causing magical mischief that only visitors can help resolve.Your family's adventure begins at the librarian's check-in counter, where you’ll quickly discover that something has gone terribly wrong in Santa's library! Santa needs a little help, so he invites you into his Magical Library to see the Great Book of Imagination—a magical book that holds centuries ofholiday tales. But there’s a problem - the pages have gone completely blank because the characters have escaped into our world, and the Light of Imagination keeping their stories alive is fading fast. That's when visitors realize they have a special power inside them: they are the real heroes who,
through reading, imagination, and belief, can return the characters back to their stories and bring light and magic back into the world.

What sets this experience apart is its sophisticated integration of AR technology paired with a web app that extends the magic through QR scan points throughout the shopping centre, and allowing families to collect escaped characters. 100% of the photo proceeds are donated to support SickKids Foundation. Vaughan Mills is a member of SickKids The Next 150, and since 2015 this partnership has generated over $1.2 million for SickKids Foundation. Santa's Magical Library and the Great Book of Imagination is
located at Entrance 4A in the Event Court.
