Sunday Dinner: Asian Fusion

Sunday Dinner is coming to Tempe's rooftops at the Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown. On December 13, 2026, three talented chefs go head-to-head in a live Asian Fusion showdown, and you're the judge. Taste all three dishes, vote for your favorite, and help crown the winning dish of the night!

Tickets: $150 per person

• Dinner served up by three stellar chefs
• Three cocktails, carefully designed by the talented bar staff at Tempe Canopy to pair with each Chef's dish. Mocktails are also available!

Richard Castricone - Executive Chef at Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

Chef Richard Castricone brings more than 20 years of culinary experience to the table, including overseeing restaurant, banquet, and catering operations at hotels and resorts across Arizona. He currently serves as Executive Chef at Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown. Before that, he was the opening Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef at the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU. Castricone has also served as Executive Chef at the Saguaro Hotel in both Scottsdale and Palm Springs, California, and held multiple roles at The Ritz-Carlton and Loews Hotels.

Ming Pluemjit - Sala Thai Supper Club
Born in Thailand, Chef Ming Pluemjit grew up surrounded by a love of food and family tradition. When his parents opened their restaurant in 2005, he began learning the art of Thai cooking, from balancing bold flavors to respecting the role of every ingredient. In 2023, he carried those lessons forward by opening his own restaurant, Sala Thai Supper Club. His culinary philosophy is rooted in honoring tradition, embracing creativity, and constantly working to elevate every dish he creates.

Kevin Rosales - Otra Pizzeria
A second-generation Filipino American born and raised in Chicago, Kevin Rosales grew up in a household where his parents hosted fiestas for holidays and special occasions, bringing family and friends together over food and fellowship. Helping his sisters with everything from cooking to setting up for guests sparked his lifelong passion for food and hospitality. Over 22 years in the food and beverage industry, he has worked nearly every position. A decade ago, he founded Good Fortune Kitchen, a culinary venture offering catering, collaborative dinners, and special events across the Phoenix area, and became a proud ambassador for his family’s cuisine and cultural traditions.

After the pandemic made running Good Fortune Kitchen full-time a challenge, Kevin kept sharing his heritage through community events like Filipino American Heritage Month and Philippine Independence Day. For the past six years, he has also put his experience to work helping friends grow their businesses. Today, he is a partner in Otra, a Neo-Neapolitan pizzeria opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Downtown Phoenix’s Warehouse District in late October 2026. It’s the latest chapter in his journey of building community through food, hospitality, and cultural connection.
