Join us at David’s for an unforgettable drag brunch produced by everyone’s favorite Daddy, Finn! 

Serving Crown is a celebratory milestone event taking you through Finn's 5 years in Drag. Enjoy show-stopping performances by incredible local talent alongside special out-of-state guest stars—all while dining in style with a delicious two-course brunch curated by "Surfing" Chef David himself!

 

David’s Restaurant is the culinary anchor to award-winning Chef David Turin’s popular restaurant group in Maine. In it's current location since 1997, Turin and his team of innovative chefs continue to serve-up perfected favorites alongside an ever-changing array of comfort fare with flair, from crispy duck breast to hand-cut truffle fries. 

Set snugly in Portland’s Monument Square, David’s is consistently imaginative, and offers an experience for every palate, and was rightfuly voted Portland’s Best Chef in 2019, has won the Maine Restaurant Week “Spirit Quest” event 6 times and was honored as Maine’s 2012 Chef of the Year by the Maine Restaurant Association.

Our Host and Birthday Boy: Finn Gerring is a local Drag King, choreographer, and your host for the event, is based in the Portland, Maine area, and returned home to Maine after graduating from Bennington College in Vermont. Driven by a passion for dance and pure joy, Finn found in drag "the box big enough to hold it all!" From day one, Finn has been crowning chaos—earning the title of King of the North. Now, two years into business ownership, Finn is bringing you brunch, Crown & Chaos style! Little known fact....Before Finn went to Bennington, he was serving the front of house at David's 388!

Guests are encouraged to bring cash to tip the performers. Feel free to tip the performers throughout the show (they will be making their way around the room as well!). QR Codes will be displayed for digital tipping.
