Major League DJz headline BACKROOM, Small World Music’s nightlife series, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.

South African twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere return to the city following three previous sold-out Toronto shows, bringing their Afro House sound to the BACKROOM stage.

Built for the dance floor, the night centres on deep grooves, long-form mixes and the instinctive chemistry that has made Major League DJz a presence across clubs and major festival stages around the world.

With appearances at Coachella, Glastonbury, Shambhala Music Festival and Tomorrowland, the duo bring the scale of the international Afro House circuit to Toronto, alongside a specially curated lineup for the city.

Major League DJz are South African twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere, an internationally recognised DJ and production duo whose work has helped bring African dance music to listeners around the world.

Their sets are driven by rhythm, movement and the connection between DJ and dance floor. From intimate rooms to large festival stages, they have built a distinct identity around South African dance music and club culture.

Their influence also extends beyond live performance. Through Balcony Mix Africa, Major League DJz developed a live-mix series into a global platform for African music, locations and creative culture.

Their catalogue includes collaborations and work connected with Major Lazer, Jorja Smith, Tiwa Savage, Avicii, Ape Drums and Black Coffee.

Now, Major League DJz return to Toronto for their next night in a city that has already welcomed them with three sold-out shows.
