Richard Villa: Live in Palmdale, CA

Richard Villa

Headliner

Raised in Compton, California, Richard Villa has spent years transforming cultural collisions into a formidable international comedy career. He carved his name into the American comedy circuit as the long-running host of "Refried Fridays" at the world-famous Hollywood Improv, making history as the first Latino comic to secure that coveted residency. A pioneer in bridging English and Spanish stand-up across the United States and Latin America, Villa moves seamlessly between languages with precise comedic timing. He has shared stages worldwide alongside heavyweights like Franco Escamilla, Gabriel Iglesias, and Mike Epps, while establishing himself as a foundational creative voice in modern bilingual entertainment. On stage, he brings an electric rhythm, quick-turn crowd work, and a raw, honest perspective that commands the room from the moment he grabs the microphone.
