PSYCROPTIC

PSYCROPTIC are a Tasmanian death metal institution — 25 years deep, globally respected, and still one of the tightest technical metal bands on the planet.

The sound.
Dense, technical riffing that bursts into powerful grooves and blast beats, anchored by the telepathic chemistry of brothers Joe (guitar) and Dave Haley (drums). Rounding out the lineup are Todd Stern on bass and Jason Peppiatt on vocals.

The history.
Their first two albums — The Isle of Disenchantment (2001) and The Scepter of the Ancients (2003) — were underground classics. They've since released a string of standout records including Symbols of Failure (2006), Ob (Servant) (2008), The Inherited Repression (2012), their self-titled album (2015), As The Kingdom Drowns (2019), and Divine Council (2022).

On the road.
They've played roughly 30 countries — "everyone, everywhere." Highlights include being the first Western band to play Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (2010), early appearances at Indonesia's Hammersonic Festival (2013), a seven-day India tour (2017), South America (2022), and even breaking into the US during COVID.

And there is no slowing down. As of late 2024, PSYCROPTIC recorded a new album and booked in for a massive US tour in January 2025 with NILE and SIX FEET UNDER.

2026 brings another massive US takeover: The Pulse of Annihilation Tour, which includes a stop at Zymurgy Brewing Co in Menomonie, WI.

powerhouse with a footprint the size of the world, nothing left to prove, and an endless commitment to finding ways to rock you as hard as technically possible.
