PinalCentral Presents: Who’s Watching the Kids?

Who’s watching the kids? Pinal County’s childcare shortage is impacting more than just families — it’s affecting our workforce, local businesses, schools and the future of our youth.

Join PinalCentral for an in-depth discussion exploring the growing childcare shortage, the challenges facing parents and providers and how limited access to quality, affordable childcare impacts early childhood development, educational readiness and student success.

We’ll take a closer look at the connection between childcare and education, including how gaps in early learning opportunities affect children as they enter the classroom, the challenges schools face in supporting students who may lack access to early childhood education and the long-term effects on academic achievement and youth development.

From working parents and childcare providers to educators, school administrators and local employers, this conversation will explore the challenges, identify potential solutions and examine how our community can work together to better support families and prepare the next generation for success.

This quarterly luncheon event brings together business leaders, public officials, community members and industry professionals for meaningful conversations about the issues impacting Pinal County today.
