RAR Bike Basics (women/trans/enby)

This class is a collaboration with the local Radical Adventure Riders chapter and is specifically for students who identify as women, trans, or non-binary. Bike Basics for all identities can be found here.

An expanded version of our popular single-evening bicycle care clinic, Bike Basics is a three week series for folks who would like a little more time, detailed instruction, and hands on experience. You'll learn how to fix a flat tire, clean your drivetrain, adjust your brakes, adjust your shifting, check your bearings, and more! With a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio this class is designed to empower participants by helping them understand and care for their bicycles.

This is a three week class that meets from 6-8pm on:

• Thursday, November 5
• Thursday, November 12
• Thursday, November 19

This class will be taught by Sequoia (they/them) and Quinn (they/them).

All classes will be in the Old Spokes Home Community Workshop at 664 Riverside Drive in Burlington (same building but separate entrance and parking lot). Bike stands, tools and supplies will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own bikes to work on, but class bikes can also be provided if needed.

All participants will receive a coupon for 20% off of a tool purchase at Old Spokes Home.
