Gary Owen began attracting widespread attention after appearing on TV shows across the globe, alongside some of the greatest modern comedians. Named "Black America's Favorite White Comedian" by Ebony magazine and known as the first white host on BET's Comic View, now, they are here to make you giggle, but they won't be riffing off other comedians – they'll be bringing their uncut, unfiltered, and truly outrageous style to make you chortle.

 

Gary Owen is bringing his stand-up to the Kirby Center for the Performing Arts. Known for his observational humor and energetic delivery, Owen often draws from his experiences as a white comedian in the Black entertainment scene, as well as family life. He's built a solid following through his specials and film roles, so expect a set that's both relatable and sharp.
