Julian Shah-Tayler aka "Electric Duke" fell into the Bowie tribute accidentally while trying to fund his children's charity.... (It's hard to be a saint in the city!) A lifelong megafan of Bowie's music, Julian took to it like a duck to knitting and begrudgingly admitted it may be something like his "calling". 15 years later, after working with several of Bowie's actual band members (including Mike Garson and Carmine Rojas) on his original music, playing as a live Bowie tribute with them and even fronting orchestras on hundreds of stages from clubs to festivals around the world, and after a notable decade opening up “as” Bowie and performing in Strangelove, the world's largest Depeche Mode cover band, Julian is back in the fray and keen to broaden his mind to new shows.
