The Nights Before Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes in Madison, Indiana, is a beloved annual holiday event that invites guests to step inside some of the town’s most beautifully decorated private homes, historic sites, and a church. Held over two festive weekends in late November and early December, the self-guided walking tour showcases Madison’s rich history, stunning architecture, and holiday spirit. Glowing walkways, costumed greeters, and seasonal refreshments add to the charm, making it a magical way to kick off the Christmas season in one of Indiana’s most picturesque river towns. Please note: none of the homes or sites are guaranteed ADA accessible.

TICKET INFORMATION
All ticket holders MUST check-in at Tour Headquarters - Visitors Center (601 W. 1st Street) to pick up your tour booklet. You cannot enter any tour sites without your booklet.
Tour Booklets may be picked up beginning November 20th during the following times:
- Monday-Friday: 9AM-5PM
- Saturdays: 9AM-4PM
- Sundays: 11AM-4PM
Early Bird Tickets = $30 | Available thru Nov. 1st @ 11:59PM
Standard Tickets = $35 | Available Nov. 2nd - Dec. 5th at 9:00PM
Children (ages 5-12) = $5

Photo ID and printed or e-ticket
What to Wear:
Dress for the weather; festive and seasonal wear encouraged!
Extras:
