Bruce Forman Meets the SLO Jazz All-Stars

The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation will present “Bruce Forman meets the SLO Jazz All-Stars” on Saturday October 24th at 7:30 pm at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in SLO. The internationally acclaimed guitar master will perform with Inga Swearingen (vocals), Dave Becker (woodwinds), Marshall Otwell (piano), Ken Hustad (bass) and Darrell Voss (drums).
The concert starts at 7:30 pm (with doors opening at 7 pm) at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church. The church is located at 1701 Fredericks Street in SLO. Tickets can be purchased at my805tix.com and at the door for $35 (general), $25 (Jazz Federation members) and $10 (students).

Bruce Forman is widely regarded as one of the top jazz guitarists in the world today. He has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival over 20 times. In addition to a hectic touring schedule, 18 recordings as a leader and countless sideman recordings, Bruce has played on the soundtracks of three Clint Eastwood movies, including the Academy Award-winning “Million Dollar Baby”. He is also an acclaimed educator at the University of Southern California as well as a novelist. He is both immensely talented on guitar and a gifted humorist.
