Andrew Emanuel is a Brooklyn based Saxophonist who loves to play jazz, pop, funk, r&b, and anything else that calls for high energy sax! Andrew has experience playing with several bands in New England and NYC. Some notable experiences include playing with Chris Potter in the University of New Hampshire big band, performing with Chinese pop artist Silence Wang at Barclay Center, and opening for Phish at Mohegan Sun with the Trichomes.
Patrick Bartley, Jr. is a GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader from Hollywood, Florida who is known for his boundless versatility, virtuosic technique and expressive vocal-like sound. Since moving to New York City, Patrick has performed and recorded with some of the greatest musical masters in the world, including Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste, Emmet Cohen, Larry Grenadier, Steve Miller, Herbie Hancock, Louis Hayes, Carole King, Jimmy Cobb, Sean Jones, Bobby Sanabria, Marcus Printup, and many others. Patrick is currently most known for his appearances on the multi-million-viewed "Live from Emmet's Place" YouTube sessions (namely, "After You've Gone", etc.), as well as for starting the J-MUSIC Ensemble, a band dedicated to examining the world of modern Japanese music through the lens of jazz. Since its inception, J-MUSIC has garnered millions of views and hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide and has led to Patrick connecting and working with some of the greatest names in modern Japanese music, such as Sayaka Yamamoto, sasakure.UK, Awich, Miho Hazama, and more.
Max Boiko is a graduate of the Brubeck Institute Fellowship Programr (’14) and the Manhattan School of Music (’18). Since moving to New York City, Max has become a dynamic presence in the music scene, performing with a wide array of celebrated artists including Steve Miller, Julianne Hough, and Barry Manilow.
Max has performed and recorded with the GRAMMY-winning 8-Bit Big Band, and is also a longtime sideman in Patrick Bartley’s band, with whom he has both performed and recorded extensively. His appearances include venues such as Frederick P. Rose Hall, Birdland, Caramoor Jazz Festival, Ornithology, Smalls, and more. In 2025, Max signed with renowned record label GameChops to release Live from Pallet Town, a successful debut that marked the begining of his recording career as a bandleader. He also co-founded VGM Jam Sessions NYC, a thriving monthly concert and jam session that consistently sells out and brings together a vibrant community of fans and musicians.
Deeply passionate about the interplay between traditional and modern music, Max seamlessly blends the rich history of his art form with the innovative sounds of contemporary media. His unique musical identity reflects a dedication to honoring the past while boldly embracing what’s to come.
Ivan Polyanskiy is a New York City–based alto saxophonist born in Novosibirsk, Russia. Before relocating to the United States in 2016, he lived and performed throughout Europe, collaborating with prominent European jazz musicians and appearing at numerous jazz festivals across the continent.
Since moving to New York, Polyanskiy has become an active presence on the city’s jazz scene, performing alongside acclaimed artists including Anthony Wonsey and Benito Gonzalez, and working regularly within their ensembles. His playing blends post-bop language with contemporary NYC jazz aesthetics, combining expressive improvisation, sophisticated harmonic sensibility, and strong swing feel.
He frequently performs at notable New York jazz venues such as Smalls Jazz Club, Django, and Jazz Cultural, as well as other venues throughout the city’s vibrant jazz community. Polyanskiy hosts weekly jam sessions at No Work Allowed every Sunday and Monday, bringing together musicians from across the New York jazz community.
