YOURstory: a circle for midlife women
About
Let's set aside HIStory and tell OURstory together in honor of World Menopause Day
Join a gathering to honor the power and beauty of this season of life: bring your own story (or write/draw a new one), come to share or simply to listen.
There’s a season for putting the mask down. (You know them—the mask AND the season.)
On the eve of World Menopause Day, we’re gathering a small circle of women in the thick of midlife, not to fix ourselves—simply to name our experience (out loud or on paper) in whatever shape it wants to take.
Bring your whole self and the story you’re still writing.
what to bring
a journal or sketchbook, and something to write or sketch with
Pen, pencil, colored markers—whatever helps a thought find its way into the world.
a piece of art that speaks to you just now
Any kind, and any meaning. A photograph, a poem you keep returning to, a small object from your nightstand—whatever’s been whispering to or screaming at you lately.
YOURstory
No polishing or editing required: you’re welcome to come with nothing prepared at all and let the evening draw it out. You're also welcome to just come and listen/observe.
how the evening will unfold
welcome + snacks
Of COURSE there will be snacks!
gather
We settle in and name why we’re here together.
share—only if you're moved to
Read a line, describe your art, or simply pass the talking stone along. However you tell YOURstory, we’re here to hear it and honor it.
create
Unhurried time with your pen and your art.
closing
One word each for the season we’re stepping into—and a proper goodbye.
You don’t need to have YOURstory figured out to participate. Simply bring yourself, your pen, and whatever piece of this season you’re carrying—we’ll figure out the rest together.

meet your host
Liza Baker is a health coach and women’s soul care advocate who guides midlife women toward living their wellness rather than performing it—rooted in intuition, alignment, and the wisdom this season of life has to offer. She brings her passion, knowledge, and experience to the table to help you claim your seat, ask your questions, and use your glorious midlife powers for good, most importantly for you—although we know your community and the world will benefit with a healthier, more lit up you in it.
