Villem first made his mark with a series of acclaimed undergroundreleases on Utopia Music, Symmetry, Ingredients Records and Med School,establishing himself as one of the scene's most exciting new productiontalents. He soon broke into the wider Drum & Bass landscape withreleases on Metalheadz and Hospital Records, while his collaborationswith McLeod earned widespread critical acclaim.The duo eventually found a home at Spearhead Records, where theyscored a Beatport No. 1 withFear Bites, featuring Riya and Dynamite MC.The success of the single led to their debut album for the label,seamlessly blending timeless soulful influences with forward-thinkingproduction. Championed by LTJ Bukem, the project also produced thestandout trackLet It Breathe, further cementing Villem's reputation foremotive, sophisticated Drum & Bass.Alongside this, Villem partnered with BCee to form The Vanguard Project.Following a string of acclaimed EPs, the duo released a full-length albumand toured extensively, including performances across New Zealand andJapan.In recent years, Villem has continued to evolve his sound through releaseson UKF withDriftfeaturing Leo Wood and LSB's Footnotes label,embracing a rolling, understated style that captures the spirit of classicGood Looking Records while remaining firmly rooted in the present.As both a producer and DJ, he has spent the last few years performingacross the United States and internationally, continuing to refine a sounddefined by musicality, warmth and precision.
