Vanda appears unannounced for an audition with first time director, Thomas.  Thomas has spent a miserable day auditioning actresses for his stage adaptation of Venus in Furs, the scandalous Victorian novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch.  Thomas reluctantly lets Vanda audition, only to discover that she has an inexplicable grasp of the material. As they read together, the boundaries between fantasy and reality completely dissolve. Vanda is determined to co-create with Thomas. Will Thomas submit and join her?

Venus in Fur is a great love story, a sensuous and empathic comedy of desire, power exchange and the innate love of fur.
