What is Farm Day?
Farm Day is a multiple-location one-day celebration of the hands and lands that feed us presented by SEEAG, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that educates students and the greater community about the farm origins of their food. Farm Day is one of SEEAG's four unique education programs, offered 100% FREE for all community members.

Farm Day is a self-guided tour experience. Registrants are encouraged to explore numerous participating locations at their leisure. Whether you spend your day at one location or traveling across the county, this flexible day of fun allows you to personalize your experience to what interests you. Farm Day offers behind-the-scenes tours, trailer rides, tastings, giveaways, and kid-friendly activities.

Farm Day Trail Map - Plan your Itinerary

<< VIEW THE TRAIL MAP HERE >> Farm Day is a self-guided experience. SEEAG has created a Farm Day Trail Map that will provide you with the information you need to plan your itinerary for the day. You will find all of the farm day locations, their addressews, and what to expect on the trail map. Attendees typically find the most success when aiming to see 3-4 farms during the day. Each location provides a different experience, ranging from tastings, tours, lessons, kid activities, or a combination of all. There truly is something for everyone! 

 

Farm Day Merch

For 2026, local artist Claudia Pardo created a beautiful illustration celebrating Santa Barbara County agriculture, which will be featured on shirts, prints, stickers, and other items. Farm Day merchandise will also be available for purchase from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 at four Farm Day locations: Bonipak Produce, Engel & Gray, Mark Richardson CTE Center and Agricultural Farm (SEEAG’s Farm Day Hub), and Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm.

 

PRE-REGISTRATION Farm Day Giveaway Contest Details

Thank you for pre-registering to attend Santa Barbara County Farm Day! Complete two easy steps and you’ll be automatically entered to win.

Two easy steps to win:

1. Pre-register for Farm Day (contest pre-registration closes Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM)
2. Attend Farm Day to collect your prize!

The Prizes:

Three winners will receive a $100 gift card and five winners will receive one item of Farm Day merchandise of their choice (shirt, hat, or print) to be picked up at the Mark Richardson CTE Center and Ag Farm on Farm Day, Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Details:

Winners will be notified by email on Friday, September 18 to arrange prize pickup on Farm Day, Saturday, September 19. If a winner is unable to pick up their prize on Farm Day, they must respond by email to arrange an alternate pickup within one week or the prize will be forfeited. All winners must attend Farm Day to be eligible to receive their prize. Attendance will be verified through Farm Day check-in records.

Official Terms:

No purchase necessary. Open to individuals of all ages; however, participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian accept the prize on their behalf. Winners will be selected at random and notified via email. Winners must attend Farm Day to be eligible to claim their prize. Winners may claim their prize on Farm Day or, if an alternate pickup is arranged by responding to the winner notification email by 3:00 PM on Farm Day, at a SEEAG office in Ventura or Santa Barbara the following week. SEEAG will verify attendance using Farm Day check-in records. If a winner does not claim the prize on Farm Day and does not respond via email by 3:00 PM on Farm Day to arrange an alternate pickup, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. By entering, you agree to receive contest-related communications from SEEAG. SEEAG reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if circumstances require.

***Important Registration Information*** The September 17 pre-registration deadline applies only to the contest giveaway. You may continue to pre-register for Farm Day through 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, but not required. If you’re unable to pre-register, don’t worry—you can still join the fun! Look for check-in booths and red signs at every Farm Day location to register when you arrive and get easy access to all Farm Day experiences.
