Saguaro are a Durham, New Hampshire four-piece formed at UNH in 2024, blending jam-band improvisation with indie-rock hooks, jazzy progressions, old-school funk, and laid-back coastal grooves. Featuring Sam Howard on guitar, Julia Murray on keys and trumpet, Jake Lowrey on bass, and Matt Gunther on drums—with vocals shared across the band—they’ve quickly moved from UNH basement shows to stages throughout the Seacoast and beyond. Their live sets lean heavily on original material while leaving plenty of room for improvisation and an eclectic range of influences, from the Grateful Dead and Trey Anastasio to Stevie Wonder, Sublime, and MF DOOM.

 

Acid Wash are an up-and-coming jam band from Burlington, Vermont, blending classic jam-band grooves with a more experimental, modern edge. The five-piece—Sammy Yohe, Gabe Frankel, Tyler Nathan, Jake Dittus, and Seamus Ward—has built a growing live presence around Burlington and beyond, with sets that mix original material and improvisation with deep-cut covers from Phish, the Grateful Dead, and Blues Traveler. Their expanding archive of live recordings captures a young band firmly rooted in the jam tradition while leaving plenty of room to stretch out and explore.
