About L&J
L&J are an Iowa-based Midwestern Indie trio featuring vocalist and bassist Liz Kennedy, vocalist and guitarist Justin Kennedy and drummer Tim Shane.
Their original music ranges from contemplative to upbeat, blending catchy melodies, lush arrangements, memorable hooks, thoughtful songwriting, and multi-genre influences. From full-electric to more rustic acoustic arrangements, L&J create music that is both familiar and distinctly their own.
L&J perform music from their 2nd full-length album, House On The Hill, 2025 EP Saturday Sessions Vol. 1, and their fun and relatable single, "Hard to make friends."
