Join an amazing guided walking tour through downtown Madison’s National Historic Landmark District to experience its architectural beauty. Discover Madison’s historic homes, churches, artistic structures, and other impressive sites. Learn about the three prominent styles of architecture that exist in the district: Federal, Greek Revival, and Italianate. The Architectural Walking Tour is a great opportunity to see highlights of the architectural uniqueness that Historic Madison has to offer. You will also find out more about the process and importance of historic preservation to protect the beauty and stories of our community.

Tours will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Tours start and end at the HMI Office at 301 W. Second St. in Madison. The walk will not be strenuous and will cover approximately 10 blocks.

Registered attendees are encouraged to meet their guides at the HMI Office five minutes before each tour. All ages are welcome to attend. This is a FREE tour.
