Day Tripper: Guided Day-long Bike Tour

Join Local Motion on a one day guided bicycle tour starting in Burlington, VT, riding up into the Champlain Islands for lunch, wine tasting, beautiful views, and an unforgettable trail.

Your guides will set you up on one of our rental bikes and ride with you up the Island Line Trail, stopping at historic and cultural points of interest along the way. We'll cross Lake Champlain, take our Bike Ferry, and arrive in South Hero for a well earned break at Snow Farm Vineyard.

Our route is approximately 25 miles (40 km) round trip on mostly flat terrain. We start at the Local Motion Trailside Center and ride directly on to the bike path, up into South Hero where we will be riding on quiet country roads for a few miles. We aim for a riding pace of a relaxed and conversational 10 mph (16 km/hr).

Price includes e-bike or traditional bike rental, lunch, and wine tasting.

Please note that the full trip time may fluctuate depending on our wait at the Bike Ferry, bike path traffic, and any other stops along the way. We will return between 3:30 and 5 PM.
