Boston | Greek Comedy Night with Chara Tsioli
Summary
After the huge global success of the show “De Saltarismed,” Chara Tsioli returns with her new musical stand-up comedy titled: “On the Shelf.”
What happens when “When are you getting married?” stops being a question and becomes a national sport? A hilarious look at the modern Greek woman balancing between her grandmother’s traditions and dating apps. A tender comedy that reminds us that love always finds its way—far from other people’s “shoulds.”
Or maybe, in the end, “the shelf” is actually the best place to be… with the best view!
From a grandmother’s dowry to modern-day dating, the hilarious comedy “On the Shelf” comes to remind us what Greek madness is all about!
One woman, thousands of “shoulds,” and a family eager to celebrate with sugared almonds.
A sharp satire on outdated beliefs and modern relationships, centered on a woman and the difficult roles she is expected to fulfill in today’s world.
It’s a subversive satire that breaks stereotypes about women and relationships, delivering a strong message of confidence and empowerment.
Exposing the flaws and missteps left behind over time, old songs are retold—corrected and reimagined.
A show strictly for women—and for those men who can handle diving into the mind of today’s woman.
