2026 Taste and State of the City

The City of Norwalk would like to invite you to the “2026 Taste and State of the City” event on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Norwalk Arts and Sports Complex. This annual event informs residents, business owners, educators, and fellow community leaders of the past year’s accomplishments and provides an in-depth outlook on future projects. This year, in place of a traditional seated meal, the event will feature a “Taste of Norwalk” experience showcasing local restaurants and vendors. Guests will have the opportunity to visit each participating booth, sample a variety of locally prepared food, desserts, and beverages, and support the local businesses that make our community unique.

Though general admission to this event is free, a ticket purchase is required for participation in the tasting portion of the event. Tasting tickets are $10 and each ticket includes ten (10) tastings from participating, local vendors. All admission is first come, first serve. The event program is as follows:

Doors Open: 10:30 a.m.
Tasting Session #1 | 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
State of the City Stage Program: 12-12:45 p.m. (No tastings during the Stage Program)
Tasting Session #2 | 12:45 - 1:15 p.m.
Event Concludes | 1:15 p.m.

Public Parking is free and is located adjacent to the Norwalk Arts and Sports Complex.
