What is Night in Wakanda? 

Night in Wakanda is an award-winning wine and food tasting weekend featuring wine from the Wines of South Africa Wine Association (WOSA).  The tasting brings together award-winning wineries and celebrates African and Black culture through the world of Wakanda.  The Grand Tasting will have 20 plus wine brands from regions like the Western Cape, Stellenbosch, Robertson, Walker’s Bay, Elgin, Zimbabwe, and some African American Winemakers.

Maia Parish is the owner of The Wine Suite and creator of The Tales of a Wine Mistress Live Show and Blog. Her events and tastings are featured at national festivals and trade-shows. She has her own broadcast called The Wine Suite, on Twitter Live. She has been published in national publications like Wine Business News, Loam Baby Volume 6 Women in Wine Issue, and The Somm Journal. She is on the committee for Dinner in White and Rel IMPACT Colorado. Maia is also a luxury wine and events contributor for Denver Colorado Luxury Magazine. Maia is a Wine Judge for the Denver International Wine Competition, Drink Pink Vino International Festival, Port and Fortified, and the Pairsine Food and Wine Competition. She was a guest panelist for The Wine Blogger Conference 2017 and is working on an upcoming podcast called Hungry, Tipsy, and Grown. Ms. Parish also owns and operates Parish Media LLC. Parish Media provides social media start-up creation and education, social media correspondence ( Social Media takeovers), passive income creation, and event management. We specialize in Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Evernote, and, Live Stream Training Platforms like Periscope/Twitter TV /IGTV/FB Watch & Stories. She provides free and paid workshops for clients in Denver, DMV, and the Northern California regions. Ms, Parish has a live broadcast called Sip & Learn 3 times a week on Facebook Watch TV. She resides in Denver Colorado. Ms. Parish is the mother of 1. She is a former private caterer, media journalist, and HR Manager.
