In
light of the Thomas Fire’s effect on our community and on the firefighters we
hope to honor, the SBYPC Board of Directors has decided to postpone the Gala
until early 2018, so that we can celebrate the selection of the Santa Barbara Firefighters
Alliance as Non-Profit of the Year with all of the brave firefighters who are
currently working so hard to save our community. We also want to ensure that
all of our nominees for Young Professional of the Year and their supporters can
be in attendance.
Details on the new date will be coming
in the next week or two. Tickets that have already been purchased will automatically
transfer to the new date. Any questions, please email us at info@sbypc.org.
All proceeds from the Gala will benefit
the SBYPC Non-Profit of the Year Award recipient, the Santa Barbara
Firefighters Alliance, which provides state-of-the-art equipment to our Santa Barbara City and County Fire Department firefighters.
WANT TO HELP NOW?
“The Santa Barbara Firefighters
Alliance has proven to be an invaluable partner. When choosing a non-profit to
assist your firefighters, you need to look no further than the Alliance. We are
very proud of our involvement with the Alliance.” Pat McElroy, Santa Barbara City Fire Chief.
