Please join us for the first of many annual events to come, supporting Chicago’s own philanthropic organization to help end homelessness in our city: Housing Opportunities for Women (H.O.W.). Brought to you by the HOW Associate Board, we hope you’ll join us in a fundraiser that we’re considering more of a “friend”-raiser as we look to increase awareness in Chicago of not only our cause, but of the opportunities to join our initiative. We’re inviting you to toast to the promotion of self-sufficiency and to the end to the vicious cycle of homelessness in Chicago.Tickets are $35 ($40 at Door, Cash Only) includes beer, wine, your choice of mixed cocktails and red bull.
Sweeten the pot? Ok! We'll also have games (the ones you're into), raffles, trivia, your favorite Pandora stations, attendance from the Associate Board and fun activities throughout the night.
Even sweeter? You’re helping to further our cause – after all, it is technically a fundraiser. Money raised for and during the event will go directly to support our initiatives to end homelessness in Chicago.
How do we do that? Here’s a snapshot: HOW is at the forefront of a national movement to end homelessness in Chicago and across the nation through a holistic approach to combating homelessness. We are significantly expanding affordable, supportive housing to help the growing number of homeless families while providing them with the support services needed to empower them toward lifelong self-sufficiency.
