ARTBAT is a new collaboration of dj Artur and Batish. The two came together in the winter of 2015 to share their creative vision which builds upon the unique professional experiences and expertise that each of the two brings to the table. ARTBAT incorporates all the best that the world of electronic music has to offer. The melody and depth of the Progressive, the atmosphere of Techno, the hypnotics of Minimal-techno and the rhythmics of Tech-house - this extraordinary project has it all! Dj Artur and Batish launched ARTBAT in the winter of 2015. The first tracks were presented domestically in April at the Kiev underground music club The LAB. This debut was followed by a series of performances at Ostrov Music Festival and some of the best summer venues in Kiev - Bora Bora Beach Club and Decadence Summer Terrace. Starting off at such an intense momentum, the ARTBAT project was able to quickly gain attention of Ukrainian and European music labels. Thus, at the end of July ARTBAT signed with Definition:Music (producing Hector Cuoto, Third Son, Darius Syrossian, Marcus Demarzo, Mihalis Safras, Matt Fear). On August 31st the first 2 tracks - “Mandrake” and “Dissolved in Time” are to be released globally. In addition, we can already get a taste of the duo’s work in the sets of the top world performers like Richie Hawtin, Thomas Gandey, Soul Button, Olivier Giacomotto, Christian Prommer, and Darlyn Vlys. The ARTBAT’s first domestic release has already been featured by popular club radio stations such as Ibiza Global, NRJ, Colair FM, Radio Nova, Paris-One, Tunnel FM, Topradio Belgium, Partygroove Radio Italy, Proton Radio, Kiss FM Australia and other. Right upon being sent into rotation, the first track “Mandrake” took over the 16th position in the TUNNEL FM Chart Top 20, after which the legendary Richie Hawtin included it into a handful of his sets at the Sonus Festival and Sunwaves. Besides Richie, the track was promoted by other club culture celebrities – Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, AFFKT, Djuma Soundsystem, Claude VonStroke, Animal Trainer, Sasha, Jade, Olivier Schories, Aki Bergen, and many others. Such a promising acceptance and support of ARTBAT and its creators – dj Artur and Batish – by the most sophisticated audience, signifies that soon we will see this project proudly representing Ukraine at the world club music stage.
