Chad Elliot Prather (born December 9, 1972) is an American humorist and motivational speaker known for a series of YouTube videos in which he comments on life, politics and current events. His videos, notably "Unapologetically Southern" which went viral in 2015, have been featured by several media outlets. Chad Elliott Prather was born in Ramsey, New Jersey and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He was a member of the Augusta Players theater group and appeared in numerous stage plays and theater competitions while attending Westside High School. Prather graduated high school in 1991 and then attended the University of Georgia.
