Amid Denver’s rapid growth rate, the built environment is changing quickly—and not always for the better. New commercial and residential buildings go up almost daily, but do they rise to the standards of good design held by other cities?

Moving past the Why? to identify which specific actions will make our city better, this session presents both a macro focus on high-level design philosophy and a micro focus on issues like design review, parking requirements, multifamily development, and behind-the-scenes insight into the city’s zoning process. The event concludes with a Q&A open to all attendees.
