Refunds |
Water
Walk 5K will encourage all Racers & Spectators to consider avoiding the
event if they have concerns related to COVID-19. Water
Walk 5K will refund / transfer tickets for requests related to COVID-19. |
Face Masks + Social Distance |
All Volunteers and Vendors will
be mandated to social distance 6’ feet apart. Racers & Spectators are
encouraged to keep a 6’ Social Distance from others, other than those racers
in their group. Volunteers will monitor & encourage 6’ social
distance control. |
Hand Sanitizer |
Hand Sanitizer will be available at; -

Obstacles |
8AM Registration |
Racers & Spectators are encouraged to socially
distanced from others. Signs will be posted at event regarding safety
measures for COVID-19. Racers & Spectators with COVID-19 related
symptoms will not be allowed entry to Event. |
Before the Race Set up 5:30am |
Water Walk 5K Racers & Spectators will be encouraged to socially distanced before the race, using the large expansive grassy areas to mitigate excessive exposure to other guests. |
Rolling start |
Racers / Groups will line up, before the race, socially
distanced from other Racers / groups.

On Course Social Distancing |
All Racers & Spectators are
encouraged to keep a 6’ Social Distance to other guests at all times. On Course Racers will respect others
at all times, passing with social distance. |
First Aid Stations |
Aid station
volunteers will use sanitizer, and social distance when possible. Racers will be
encouraged to use hand sanitizer. Self-Served Drinks /
Refreshments will be available for Racers & Spectators |
Restrooms |
Port-A-John Restroom
Facilities will be strategically available at the event site. Racers & Spectators
must keep a 6’ Social Distance from other Racers / groups. Hand Sanitizer will
be available at each restroom location. |
Finish Line- |
Racers
will receive their “Finisher Medal” as they cross the finish line. Racers will be
asked to not linger near the finish line and socially distance in the grass
area. Racers may join Spectators
and will be encouraged to follow COVID-19 precautions. |
Spectators |
We ask that all Spectators maintain
proper social distancing from the runners during the event. |
