Teams can be any combination of male and female players (2 males, 2 females or 1 male and 1 female). Each team in OPEN DIVISION must have 1 California Resident on it. ID’s will be checked upon check-in for both players. Players are allowed to play in both tournaments!

DATE & TIME:
July 13-14th (2 Day Tournament). All Teams Must Check in on Saturday between 9:00 and 10:00am. Tournament Begins at 10:00am and will go until approximately 2:00pm on Saturday. Championship Rounds begin Sunday, July 14th with Check in starting at 9:00 and bags in the air by 10:00 with Championship Rounds at 2:00 followed by an Award Ceremony at approximately 4:30.
Early Check In will be available again this year on Friday, July 12 on the beach at tournament headquarters from 4:00-7:00. Strongly Encouraged if you are already in town.
Open Tournament Details
16 sets of customized professional grade Surf Rodeo boards and bags will be provided for the tournament
This is a true blind draw team tournament where all 128 teams will be picked by the beautiful Cornhole Girls from a legendary cowboy hat. 64 Teams will be placed in the Surf Bracket and the other 64 in the Rodeo Bracket. The Winners out of each bracket will battle in the championship while the runner-ups will play for 3rd place on Championship Sunday!
Scoring
Each bag on the box = 1 point
Each bag in the hole = 3 points
Any bags touching the ground or “bounced” onto the box do not count and are to be removed prior to the next bag being thrown by the opposing team.
Teams are allowed to rake the bags and adjust boards during competition.
