Taught by Lindsay Clark
Already know how to make a rustic loaf of real sourdough bread? Did you know you can replace plain old water with other ingredients to maximize flavor and wow-factor? We’re going to get creative with the standard recipe and make beautiful, delicious bread you can enjoy every day!
In this class, we will make a less-technical form of sourdough so that we can focus on stretching our imaginations to develop your favorite flavors into bread dough. We will make a lean sandwich sourdough in a loaf pan and show you some unexpected flavor variations on a low-hydration sourdough recipe made from either mushroom broth or colorful teas. Then we'll create a gorgeous spread of vibrant toasts and a savory brunch dish to enjoy together.
Sourdough is a living thing as unique as each baker's fingerprint. You are limited only by your creativity and taste. Come to this class and develop your ideas for a weekly sourdough routine that reflect what inspires you.
**note: This class teaches an easy-to-follow sourdough recipe, but is not meant to be an introduction to home bread baking. You can learn to make sourdough from start to finish in our Sourdough at Home course.
