May's edition of our free showcase is dimming the lights and getting intimate, so lay back and vibe out to three of the Bay Area's dreamiest indie poppers.

Nine Pound Shadow
http://ninepoundshadow.com/

Nine Pound Shadow is a happy-go-lucky band of family and childhood friends fashioning catchy melodies in the flats of West Berkeley. Formed by brothers Breandain and Christopher Langlois, the dreamy indie pop duo released their debut self-titled EP earlier this year.

Sunhaze
http://www.sunhazemusic.com/

Sunhaze embodies the diverse landscape of their Californian roots. Surf-pop guitars and atmospheric synth amidst melancholic melodies create an aural environment influenced by coastlines and city streets. Formed in 2012, Sunhaze debuted their Last Summer EP in Fall 2014. Their debut album Wishful Thinking succeeds the previous bright sun-baked release with a culmination of pop hooks, dynamic rhythms, and darker undertones; released October of 2016.

Future Myth
http://future-myth.com/

Future Myth offer nostalgia-charged tunes that balance somber moments of longing with vibrant flashes of self-reflection.
Released in January of 2016, the band's debut EP, Flashbulb Memories, showcases their versatility both sonically and lyrically. With their distinctive, catchy melodies in addition to healthy doses of vocal harmonies and shimmering effects, Future Myth set out to produce an experience that's familiar, yet fresh and invigorating.
