Located in the center of the fine dining and high-end shopping area of State Street, the Historic El Paseo is home to the boutique wine tasting rooms of Au Bon Climat, Grassini Family Vineyards, Happy Canyon Vineyards, Jamie Slone Wines, Margerum Wine Company and MWC32. 1) Au Bon Climat: For over 30 years, Jim Clendenen has made distinctive, balanced wines that reflect a visionary approach to winemaking. Emphasizing Burgundian varietals under the Au Bon Climat label and lesser known varietals under the Clendenen Family label, the wines are carefully handcrafted using the greatest local vineyards. 2) Grassini Family Vineyards: Specializing in handcrafted, limited-production wines made exclusively from Bordeaux varietals grown on our estate vineyard in the Happy Canyon AVA. We’re committed to farming our estate vineyard using renewable and sustainable resources. We believe our ultra-premium farming methods are reflected in the quality of our family’s wines. 3) Happy Canyon Vineyard: We are a family owned and operated estate vineyard and boutique winery specializing in Bordeaux varietal wines. Our vineyards are located on Piocho Ranch, where we, the Barrack family call home. Our tasting room blends our passion for Piocho Polo with our commitment to excellence in wine. 4) Jamie Slone Wines: We specialize in ultra premium, limited production wines, featuring Bordeaux, Burgundian, Italian & Rhône varietals. We’re about making authentic and compelling wine from special vineyard sites with subtle nuances that tell a wine’s particular story. Visit us! 5) Margerum Wine Company: Margerum Wine Company is committed to creating handcrafted small production wines. We strive to make wines naturally that have individual characteristics and personality. We are known for our Sybarite Sauvignon Blanc, single vineyard Syrah, and most notably M5- a perfect blend of five Rhône varietals. 6) MWC 32: MWC 32 features reserve, library and limited production wines crafted by Doug Margerum. Showcased are Barden wines; Syrah, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay crafted from grapes grown in Santa Rita AVA and Cent’Anni, limited production estate wines made from Sangiovese, Tocai, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Bianco.
