Learn how to create a unique Cyanotype photographic print with stunning indigo blue hues in this hands-on workshop with photographer Ashly Othic of Indigo Sol. Participants will use ocean and botanical specimens, sea glass, feathers, found objects, stencils, and other common objects to create one-of-a-kind prints on 100% all-natural pretreated cotton fabric to leave with two (2), 8.5" x 11” pieces. (Two prints included in ticket price, additional prints available for $10 each.)

The simplicity of the Cyanotype process makes it a great introduction to those new to photography or alternative printing, while the variations of beautiful blue tones and artistic flexibility offer new avenues for serious fine art practitioners to pursue.

All materials + tool rental included in the registration cost. Also includes one glass of wine or beer, a light snack + admission to the museum. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Dress Code: Dress comfortably, check the weather, you may want sunscreen or a hat since you will be exposed to the sun most of the time, and please wear comfy shoes.
Note: This class requires sunshine so if it is raining it will be rescheduled.
