Everyone knows music and beer go hand in hand, but Vine Street Pub and local gypsy jazz band La Pompe Jazz are taking that perfect marriage to the next level: on October 19th, Vine Street Pub is hosting a special beer release of "La Pompe Saison".
Drawing inspiration from the Romani people's journey from India all the way to Django Reinhardt forging the style we now know as “Gypsy Jazz”, this Saison is made with Belgian yeast for Django’s Belgian nationality, Rustic Rye grains to invoke tastes of Europe, black peppercorn and black cardamom from India where the Romani people began their migration, and a light addition of citrusy Amarillo hops from the U.S. to signify the American spin La Pompe Jazz adds to this classic sound.
Attendees will receive their first pour of the new Saison on the house to pair with La Pompe Jazz’s hot club swing and everyone will get to keep their branded tulip glass as a gift! Vine Street’s kitchen will be in on the action too, drawing inspiration from the new beer and jazzy sounds to offer food specials that’ll ensure this event, filled with the rich culture of gypsy jazz, will be an evening you don’t want to miss!
