La Loca Milonga and the Santa Barbara Tango community team up one more time in 2021 to bring you the last installment of Live Music and Dancing at Buena Onda + Empanadas.
We are going all out: we are bringing you El Cachivache Orkesta, a band integrated by four dynamic young musicians on tour from Buenos Aires.
We managed to intercept them as they were touring the Eastern side of the country, and bring them to our shores.
They just released a fantastic new CD "Alguien Canto '' and are eager to get back to the tango scene in California.
El Cachivache defines itself as Tango Punk and plays at the fringe of your traditional tango and yet, you can hear in their new voice and sound the unmistakable sound of true tango, Buenos Aires Tango.
It is irresistible to dance to their music.
Everybody, tangueros or not, are encouraged to join us on the dance floor and feel what it is like to move "al compas de un tango"
(to the tango beat).

There will be music, food, and a bit of dancing for whoever wants to dance.
We will be providing a dance floor.

Due to changing conditions with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, and the appearances of new COVID variants, we feel compelled to impose restrictions on the dancing floor.
Only fully vaccinated dancers, or dancers with negative PCR tests within the last 72 hours, will be allowed to dance.
We will be distributing wristbands to attendees that show proof of vaccination. Only people with wristbands will be allowed on the dance floor.
We ask people to refrain from dancing in between tables
The organizers reserve the right to implement further restrictions including curtailing access to the dance floor if it becomes too crowded.
The event is outdoors. Masks are optional, but we encourage you to bring a mask, your favorite hand sanitizer, and implement all measures that you see fit to protect yourself and your loved ones.
