About

We wanted fun, warmth, dancing, edge…and something altogether less serious than anything that was in this space in the past. When THE BUILDOUT STARTED, OUR TEAM BEGAN redesigning what was ALREADY THERE. But AS THE WALLS WERE peeled back, A story UNFOLDED of an old electric supply & manufacturing warehouse and tales of a hapless hotelier in the 1930’s with dreams of turning that warehouse into the Electric Hotel. That dream was never realized as the realities of the depression era and poor choices in partners and managers eventually took its toll. DRAWING inspiration from these stories and from what we found behind the walls, brick, plaster, old paint, vault doors, timber columns, hardwood floors, and warehouse windows, we became the Electric Hotel once again.
