Here's a look at what the day will include:
Morning Session
- Formulating grain mixes; preparing and pressure cooking grain masters
- Grain-to-grain transfers
- Making agar; pouring agar plates
Afternoon Session
- Sterile technique; culture work (all participants will receive an oyster culture to take home)
- Preparing straw
- Packing and inoculating straw bags
- Inoculating sawdust bags
