In the spring of 2013, event producer Bryan Rabin and DJ Adam12 joined forces to create Giorgio’s, A Modern Discotheque. Giorgio’s is a weekly Saturday night dance party for people who want to express themselves through fashion, beauty and dance. Giorgio’s takes place in mmhmmm, the nightclub hidden away behind the kitchen of The Standard, Hollywood, on the famed Sunset Strip. DJ Adam XII has created one of the most fresh and exciting dance floors in years, spinning all classic disco with a modern point of view. The party is named after legendary multi Oscar and Grammy award winning producer Giorgio Moroder.
Since it’s inception, Giorgio’s has has taken Hollywood by storm. The guest list reads like a veritable who’s who of cool. Generations of Fabulousness have flocked weekly to experience the disco magic. From musical legends such as Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, P Diddy, Kylie Minogue, Rufus Wainwright, Jody Watley, Billy Idol, Robyn, members of Duran Duran, Sade, Black Keys, Rage Against the Machine, Ba- nanarama, No Doubt and The Sex Pistols to Fashion Designers Olivier Theyskins, Haider Ackerman, Prabal Gurung, Johnson Hartig, Michael Schmidt, Monique Lhuillier. Fashion photographers Ellen Von Unwerth, Anton Corbijn, David LaChapelle, Greg Gorman, Tierney Gearon, Tony Duran Supermodels Amber Valetta and Erin Wasson to the ladies of the International best dressed list Daphne Guinness, Dita Von Teese and Catherine Baba. The Social register is even showing up in droves from Crystal Lourd to Alexandra Von Furst- enberg to Vanessa Getty, as well as TV and film Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper, Kate Beckinsale, Amy Poehler, Sofia Vergara, James Caan, Rashida Jones, Lee Daniels, Baz Lurhmann, Queen Latifah, John C. Reilly, Ron Perlman, Henry Cavill, Olga Kurylenko and Maria Bello. The icing on the cake was when the man himself, Mr. Giorgio Moroder, came by to check out the party that was named after him and has his music in heavy rotation.
