We believe punk is a culture of resistance, and we're bringing the "love revolution" movement to Dairy Block. An unimaginable experience that incorporates out-of-the-box design, inventive cuisine, and craft cocktails, French Punk will feature a Run For The Roses Pop Up Bar and several clever activations throughout the month of February — kicking the month off with an Un-Valentine's Drag Show and two specially curated French Punk themed drag brunches. Guests will dive deep into the French Punk scene, surrounded by musical acts, DJ sets and performance art that won't disappoint, featuring specialty concoctions by Steven Waters and Chef Kelly Whitaker, and unique collaborations with artists Scott Young, Lucia Visuals, Kelsey Rath and Tuke.
Thrice is inspired by the explosion of the late 70’s punk subculture that unleashed a wave of creativity, a do-it-yourself spirit of ingenuity, and rebellion against the status quo. French punk puts a spin on visually striking ephemera of punk with a French twist, telling a story about the music, edgy fashion, and seismic shift in society. This is a culture of resistance, anti-hate, anti-violence, anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-homophobia, and we are bringing that into 2020.
Proceeds will benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation and the Noble Grain Alliance. French Punk debuts February 14th at 1855 Blake, Suite 140, located on the corner of 19th and Blake at Dairy Block.
