Dutch DJ/producer Ferry Corsten’s longstanding career is exemplified by a passion for music that continues to push the boundaries of the Trance genre. His latest project UNITY is a concept launched in 2018 with the vision of uniting the Trance community for a bigger cause through collaboration with other renowned acts. The first of these collaborations came through icon Paul Oakenfold with their track ‘A Slice of Heaven’, which Billboard hailed as the “perfect starting point for UNITY”. Ferry partners with VH1’s Save The Music Foundation on helping to reinstate music programs for children through the proceeds. The project follows Ferry’s 2017 sci-fi concept album ‘Blueprint’, which he worked on with screenwriter David H. Miller to complete and includes narration from actor Campbell Scott. 2018 also saw Ferry place in DJ Mag’s Top 100 for the 8th consecutive year, making him the longest serving Dutch DJ in the ranking.
Ferry has been at the top of his game since his 1999 album under the System F alias ‘Out Of The Blue’, with the title track charting in the UK Top 20. Ferry partnered with Tiësto around this time for the legendary Gouryella handle, a project Ferry relaunched in 2016 with hugely popular single ‘Anahera’ and a live show gracing the stages of EDC, Ultra, Tomorrowland and more. Ferry continues to break new ground in the trance world and beyond, demonstrated by his recently completed first feature film score for the thriller ‘Don’t Let Go’, set for release in 2018.
