Fade 2 Black Weekend 2/26th - 2/28th

Fade 2 Black Weekend is a celebration of food and wine within the Black Diaspora. The weekend will highlight wineries, breweries, chefs, and brands owned by Black Americans. In addition, we will feature Food Historian Adrian Miller and have a live DJ set for a different them each night.  Do you want a chill vibe or is hip hop your tempo?

      Our Wine Dinner will feature 4 selections from Charles Wine Company located in Lodi Appellation of California.     In addition, we will feature 2 selections of Longevity Wine Brands located out of Livermore, California. There will be 3 courses prepared by Chef De Cusine Shawn Degressa.   James Beard Award Winner and Denverite Adrian Miller will provide a historical account of contributions made by Black Americans within Colorado.

      This year we will feature Civil Rights Activist and Hotelier, Barney Ford. Mr. Ford was an escaped slave who became a wealthy businessman and civil-rights pioneer in Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado Black Hall of Fame, the Colorado Business Hall of Fame, and has a stained-glass portrait in the House Chamber of the Colorado State Capitol.

      Proceeds will support local Charity Curls on the Block.
