Puerto Rican salsa music orchestra El Gran Combo is coming to the world famous Conga Room in November! Known as Puerto Rico's most successful music group, they are celebrating their 53rd anniversary this year. In 2012, they performed at Madison Square Garden in New York to commence their 50 year anniversary. 

El Gran Combo have the nickname "La Universidad de la Salsa" because of the sheer number of famous salsa musicians and singers who developed their careers from starting with the group. 

In 2003 they received a Grammy for "Best Tropical Album" and have received numerous awards throughout Latin America.
