“Dualities” Showcase is about exploring the truth of light and shadows–Nature, Function, and Transformational Opportunities. Leave PC, peachy, and filters out the door. This is an intimate occasion for Real Talk on the topic of humankind's dualistic nature.

FEATURE ARTISTS

Jamae (Jamee Mae Kyson)

is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Michigan with a Ph.D. in neuroscience, Jamae is a grounded artist with Midwest roots and an educated mind. Jamae launched her solo career in 2016 with her debut EP, "Fly," which includes the award-winning single, "Oh My." Jamae has performed in several high-profile events, including the Genius Loci Musical Festival, the Lucidity Music Festivals, and the LoveLife:LIVESTREAM event, which included performances by Rachel Platten and Andy Grammer. As the lead singer of the rock band, "Rock Stars for Kids," Jamae performed in a charity event that featured Stevie Wonder. Jamae has recorded in the famous EastWest studios and has worked with the accomplished producers, Jamey Heath (OPOPP Productions) and David Chua Boon Ghee (Mako Recordings). Jamae believes that music has the ability to create real and lasting change in the world and is dedicated to making inspiring music for the rest of her life.

Lauri Burns, Founder of The Teen Project

Lauri is a renowned inspirational speaker who travels the map telling her inspirational life story in the hope to heal the hearts of people everywhere.

For the past fifteen years she has been inspiring audiences with her heartfelt story of courage, forgiveness, love and success. Lauri is an Author, a fortune 100 executive and business owner, The Founder of The Teen Project and has fostered 31 at-risk youth. She is a national advocate for foster and at homeless youth and has shared her heartfelt story at over 240 venues. As a professional speaker, Lauri has designed and presented programs to universities, corporations, foundations, educational conferences, and professional associations.

Roman is a relationship coach and award-winning writer/director, recording artist, and podcast host, Roman Wyden has dedicated his life to the exploration of intimacy, playfulness, and authenticity in modern day relationships. Growing up in Switzerland, he took to various art forms as a medium to sooth his struggle with understanding the true meaning of love. The exploration took him from being a DJ, musical performances on stage, acting for film and TV. He has since made his name as a commercial and narrative director for such projects as Eleanor Roosevelt Award winning documentary Ageless Wisdom, the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival winner Deface as well as most recently the short films Max, Hiroko and the short film festival darling Ricky Limon. He is currently developing several short-form narrative series as well as recording his weekly podcast “You. Love. Life.”, now on iTunes.
