Director's Bio
Jamie Greenberg (writer, director, editor) Jamie Greenberg’s first feature film, the acclaimed comedy Stags, was produced by indie film pioneer Ben Barenholtz. The film was lauded as “very funny” (Foxnews.com) and “the must-see indie film of the summer"(Monstersandcritics.com).
Jamie recently wrote and directed the Separate Checks web series and has created numerous short films. His faux-historical short Pillowfighter won the "Grand Jury” and "Best Director” Awards at the NY International Independent Film Festival and was an Official Selection in the Montreal Comedy Festival.
Before getting into film, Jamie was a TV Writer/Producer. He co-created Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? [PBS], for which he was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards, and wrote for every season of its sister show, Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?.
He was a Story Producer on Michael Moore’s acclaimed series TV Nation and Senior Writer on a variety of MTV specials, including Wanna Be A VJ, MTV Spring Break, and many more. He co-created MTV’s hit show Lip Service, for which he won the “Best Game Show” CableACE Award.
Jamie is based in NYC and has a good dog and a dog.
