Zack Taylor’s documentary is  a 90-minute exploration of the cassette tape’s special place in the collective conscience of music fans everywhere. More of a love letter to the format than a history lesson, the film itself is a mix tape of comments from the likes of Henry Rollins of Black Flag, who shows off his impressive tape archive. There's Minutemen bassist Mike Watt recalling the first song he ever recorded to tape, and there’s musician Damien Jurado thoughtfully explaining that if it weren’t for the cassette tape, he wouldn’t be here today. This Los Angeles premiere screening will be followed immediately by the ultimate mix tape party.
