Denver Kids, Inc. helps Denver Public Schools students, grades K-12, who face the personal challenges of higher risk environments, to successfully complete high school, pursue post-secondary options, and become contributing members of the community.
The Denver Faux Wedding is hosted by the Young Professionals Council of Denver Kids, Inc. (YPC). YPC is made up of community members who are committed to raising awareness and funds for Denver Kids while developing future philanthropic and non-profit leaders in the greater community.
The YPC’s signature annual fundraising event is the Denver Faux Wedding. This event celebrates a fake couple, allowing attendees to re-live everything they love about weddings: dancing, socializing, drinks, and cake… and they can forget the ceremony! The 2016 Denver Faux Wedding will feature a special performance from That Eighties Band, one of the most popular 80’s tribute bands in America. While it is a faux wedding, there is nothing fake about the cause. All proceeds go to Denver Kids, Inc.
